Learning to kitesurf is easier than learning to windsurf and it has all the thrills of surfing, wakeboarding and snowboarding plus a dimension of jumping like no other sport.

Kitesurfing has some obvious risk involved and it is essential that newcomers receive instruction from a recognised school with professional instructors.  X-Sport considers safety to be of the utmost importance and provides a free beginners lesson with every kite sold.

X-Sport is the only Tasmanian kitesurfing school that is recognised by both the International Kiteboarding Organisation and the Australian Kitesurfing Association and has a qualified and certified instructor.  Our instructor has  IKO qualifications which ensures the latest techniques and information from an internationally recognised teaching body.
