Before heading out for a kitesurf, please make yourself familiar with kitesurfing code of conduct.  Doing so will keep you and other water users safer and happier.

Hobart Region:

    Dorans Road, Lauderdale - Best in NW breeze.  Safe and shallow making it great for beginners. 

    Mortimer Bay - Best in S-W winds. Great for beginners, big shallow bay with plenty of space to blast away downwind

    Ralphs Bay, South Arm - Southerly and sea-breezes. Downwind runs to Mortimer's or Rifle Range Road, take a friend and leave a car at each end.

    Sandpits, South Arm - Good wave riding in S-W, cross/on shore. A good place to taste the waves for the 1st time.

    Marion Bay Beach & Blackman Bay - Anything with easterly in it, just go and see for yourself, great flat water sailing in Blackman Bay behind Marion Beach.

    Midway Point / Penna - Southerly & S-W, always sail on the downwind side of the breakwater, kites and traffic don't mix.
